Costa_Rica - Right at the entrance, we encounter a raccoon inspecting the trash can. A little further on, a sloth is in a tree. Soon it becomes clear this is no rarity. On the beach, one is at about four meters high. The raccoons roam the beach. One raccoon sticks its snout in the backpack of sunbathing tourists. Before they can get up from their towel, he has already opened the bag and runs off with a sandwich. This causes great hilarity among the beach visitors. On the beach, there is also a large black iguana. Suspiciously, he watches everyone who wants to take a close photo of him. Yet, he sees no reason to give up his spacious spot on the tree trunk. Meanwhile, we walk into the forest via the Cathedral trail. This walk goes over the small peninsula and contains several steps up and down. The path is quite muddy, and you have to watch where you put your feet, especially on the descent. Just as we reach the top, it starts to rain softly. With ponchos on, we start the descent. Fortunately, the shower does not last too long. Back on the beach, I take a swim in the ocean water. There are big waves, causing a very strong current. I don’t go too far into the sea.
